My name is David Eric Brinkman, and I’m delighted to be the founder and owner of this firm. For me, architectural design is more than a career, it’s a passion that began with my own story.

I am a trained residential designer and draftsman, a graduate of Lanier Technical College in Hall County. Over the years, I’ve explored many paths, but architectural design is where I feel most at home. My journey into this field started when I set out to build my own house. After searching endlessly for the right plan and never finding one that truly fit, I decided to design it myself. That first experience with custom home design sparked the inspiration that guides my work today.

At Ivy Architectural, I believe every project is deeply personal. Whether you’re building a new home, creating a vacation retreat, re-imagining a house you already love, or designing a unique business space, I approach each project with the same care and creativity as if it were my own.
